The official opening of the Turkish-Byelorussian enterprise «Polesie TR»

 January 19, 2020 in Sinop (Republic of Turkey) the official opening of the production site of the joint Turkish-Byelorussian enterprise for the manufacturing of plastic toys “Polesie TR” took place.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey Mr. V. Rybak, Commercial Consul Mr. R. Kizelevich, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. M. Ersoy, Sinop Governor Mr. K. Shakalar, deputy of the Turkish Parliament Mr. N. Mavish, Deputy Minister of Trade Mr. Z. Kılıç, co-owners from the Turkish side, management of PP Polesie JV, Ltd and numerous guests.

The new enterprise is located on an area of 1600 square meters. Modern equipment was installed and launched in the production workshop on October 25, 2019, assembling and handling of toys and spare parts was organized. The first products were certified and shipped to the customers in mid-December.

From then onward, the team of the enterprise came to a level a stable round-the-clock work and currently employs 157 people.
Mr. V. Rybak noted that through such bilateral projects, cooperation between the two countries is strengthening and the economy is growing.

Mr. M. Ersoy expressed hope for the dynamic development of the project and the expansion of production an increase in the number of employees and wished a sound progress.

The founders of the enterprise shared their plans to develop the assortment and expand their presence in international markets, firstly in the countries of southern Europe, Africa and in the Middle East.

Today toys brand Polesie is known to customers in 72 countries and has established itself as safe, interesting and durable product for children of different age.

The new enterprise will make it possible to introduce Polesie brand to small customers in the countries to which the delivery was previously difficult due to complex logistics.
